It’s President’s Day – so hopefully you have the day off.
You may have even forgotten that you have the day off. SURPRISE!
Today, you get a free day to catch up on errands that don’t involve banks and post offices. Or maybe you’re planning to binge watch curling and ice dancing on the Winter Olympics. Or perhaps you’ve vowed to make it back to the gym to sweat off all that Valentine’s Day goodness from last week.
Or, worse-case scenario: YOU don’t have the day off but everyone around you does.
You need some motivation. (and an extra dose of concentration and patience.)
It might be a day to drop off the kids at the skating rink so you can sanely complete a conference call without constant interruptions. It might be a day when you have to take the kids along to work, and fight the balance battle in your own office.
Having only 1 person who has a regular work day meant that our house was on full volume until late last night. Sadly, I still needed to get up early to meet deadlines and try to hustle through work before the full volume resumes.
Coffee: Check!
Whatever the case, it’s Monday.
And Monday means we need something with a good beat. And today, we may even need something that makes us laugh.
It’s President’s Day – so we give you The Presidents of the United States. Remember them? A super weird post-grunge band. If I’m not mistaken, they are still playing music…but this time for kids. Seems fitting.
